With Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visiting New York City today, I spent some time remembering my classmate Todd Kraft.
Todd and I grew up in the same small town. We were in the same classes, every day, through middle school and high school.
Six months after we graduated, Todd was killed in Beirut — and Ahmadinejad was one of the Iranians behind his death.
Today, when I heard the crowd at Columbia University cheering and applauding for Ahmadinejad’s theatrics, I almost threw up.
